    The Barlow Collection

The bowl has rounded sides and a clearly marked base inside, and a low footring and somewhat pointed base outside. The outside is decorated with a sketchy flower scroll with three stylized lotus blooms among indicated foliage, engraved with a two-pronged implement. The piece is fully covered with a transparent blue-tinged glaze, which has been wiped from the rim to allow upside-down firing. The biscuit is off-white.
