    The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries

    A band of green trefoils with a horizontal base extended to give the pattern a triangular outline. The trefoils alternate in direction. The band has a red border with a simple sawtooth edge.

    The band is 3 cm wide. Three sides of the fragment have a rolled and whipped hem, sewn with yellow (undyed) silk.
