The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries

A band made up from small diamonds set into larger linked diamonds; triangles are placed between the latter. The band has a border of stylized flowers.

The band is sewn to a ground fabric which is of finer weave; the technical data refers to this first, and to the embroidered band secondly. The band is 11.5 cm long and 4.5 cm wide.
