    The Barlow Collection

The piece has straight sides with a shallow footring and a tall domed openwork cover. The cover is decorated with a central flower-head surrounded by a scrolling band of foliage, all moulded in relief and pierced with a central hole and surrounding cut-outs. The translucent glaze has a bluish tinge, the underside and much of the inside are unglazed.
