    The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries

    Two end borders with a repeating design of floral motifs; each motif is composed of a stylized plant with a three-petalled flower, two leaves and a hooked stem.

    According to the original inventory list a label attached read "Bought Cairo 1927, Newberry". There are two rolled hems and two selvedges.
