    The Barlow Collection

The ovoid jar rests on a solid splayed foot, has a raised rib at the luting line halfway down the sides, and four double-stranded loop handles attached on the shoulder, around a short straight mouth. The light buff stoneware is covered with a glossy yellowish-green glaze, which stops in the lower half of the body, leaving the lowest part free.
