    The Barlow Collection

The bottle has a slender, elongated body tapering towards a tall waisted neck, and flaring very slightly at the base, which is recessed, surrounded by a broad footring. The coarse hard pottery bears a white slip and a bright green glaze which ends halfway down the sides, with small drops running down somewhat further. The lowest part and the base were left free of glaze and show the buff-coloured biscuit.
