The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries
Five bands, each with a continuous vine design; the central one is wide and includes trefoil flowers.
The vine is filled in with red couching stitches; threads are couched down over surface satin filling stitches. There are remains of fine blue outlines, possibly worked in stem stitch.
