    Chinese Prints 1950-2006 in the Ashmolean Museum

    Wang Shikuo first studied art at the Aimei Teachers’ Training School in Jinan, and later in Peking and Shanghai. Wang further studied art in Japan during 1935–37 and on his return moved to Yan’an. In 1949, he taught at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing. Wang is well known for his oil paintings.
