The meeting of eyes

  • Description

    Krishna, at a high window, and a lady (perhaps Radha), at a balcony opposite, exchange a lingering look. In his verse, the poet Bihari Lal compares the intense gaze between lovers to a tightrope stretched between the roofs of houses, on which their hearts run back and forth like acrobats.
