    Yellow chalcedony, in decorated silver setting (being element of bracelet); bezel; oval. Six lines placed in elongated compartments with trilobed lateral sides. Cursive script; engraved.

    (1) 'In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate. بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
    (2) Praise belongs to God, the Lord of all Being, the Merciful, the Compassionate, الحمد لله رب العالمين الرحمن الرحيم
    (3) the Master of the Day of Doom. Thee only we serve; to Thee alone مالك يوم الدين اياك نعبد واياك
    (4) we pray for succour. Guide us in the straight path, نستعين اهدنا الصراط المستقيم
    (5) the path of those whom Thou hast blessed, not of those against whom Thou art wrathful, صراط الذين انعمت عليهم غير المغضوب
    (6) nor of those who are astray' (Qur. I) عليهم ولا الضالين

    There are some very schematic floral motifs spread over the ground. One line follows the shape of the gem.
