The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries

An white appliqué medallion with a roundel containing a six-pointed star. The star has a circle and chalice at the centre. The roundel is surrounded by a continuous vine with alternating crescent-shaped leaves and trefoil flowers.

The fragment may have been a tab. It is very similar in style to EA1984.134.
