The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries

A wide chevron band in red, with a fleur-de-lys set into the two peaks. There also is a border with a continuous vine and trumpet-shaped single leaves.

The design would have continued beyond the selvedge. There are remains of stitching along the selvedge. Threads are couched down over surface satin filling stitches.
