A large, red interlacing vine with leaves and trefoils; along one side of the fragment there may be the remains of a border as well. The fabric also shows small dots of blue and very fragmentary remains of blue outline.

The fragment may have been part of the same fabric as EA1984.64. Laid threads are couched down over surface satin filling stitches. The outlines combine couching and stem stitch.

The fragment has a radiocarbon date of 1294 AD +/- 35.
