Royal elephant with mahout

    This sensitively modelled elephant stands peacefully obedient to the instructions of his mahout, against a pale green ground. He is fully caparisoned and decked with two saddle-cloths laid crossways; the richer floral cloth no doubt awaits a princely rider.
