Close minute scrollwork, amidst which are five of the Precious Objects (tama, shippō, pair of chōji, pair of scrolls, and pair of brocade-rolls), all gilt in nunome; the raised border, of medium width, has a row of small pearls on the edge, its faces showing in low relief three (or two) dragons, sacred pearl and cloud-forms; oblong seppadai with ogival ends, stone-grain ground, and two small holes with rosette borders.
A charming little dagger guard. -
