    Tong Po worked in Chahaer (today’s Hebei and Shanxi province) Federation of Literary and Art Circles in Zhangjiakou from 1948, and later worked in Beijing and Hebei. He dedicated his life to teaching art and promoting folk art, especially folk paper-cutting.
