    Catalogue of Islamic Seals and Talismans

    Brownish jasper, in undecorated silver setting (being element of pendant); bezel, oval. The inscription is found on the central ground (A), within two concentric oval lines, and on the border (B), surrounded on its outer edge by two oval lines. One line (A) and one line (B) of cursive script; engraved.

    A - The kingdom belongs to God. الملك لله
    B - In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate. '"As God will; there is no power except in God"!' (Qur. XVIII, 37/39) I ask pardon of God!
    بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم ما شاء الله لا قوة الا بالله استغفر الله
