    A tiraz fragment with an inscription that reads "baraka min allah wa'l- min allah wa'l-ni'ma (?) min allah wa'l-'izz (?) li 'abdallah al-khalifa Ja'far al-imam al-Muqtadir billah amir al-mu'minin" (blessing from God, and from God, and well-being from God, and glory to the servant of God, the Caliph, Ja'far, the Imam, al-Muqtadir billah, commander of the faithful).

    The inscription dates the textile to H 295-320/908-932 AD. It was made in Iraq.
