  • loan
  • Literature notes

The small vessel has a globular body, wide neck with thick everted rim and three bulbous, pointed feet. A thick dark olive-green glaze with a very smooth texture, matt sheen and large-scale crackle covers the piece, ending inside the neck, leaving most of the inside free, but fully covering the underside of the piece except for the tips of the legs. Small accidental glaze gaps appear in some places. On the inside, the biscuit has fired a reddish-brown, at the legs is appears glossy and yellowish-brown.
