Dehua type white ware incense burner

Literature notes
This incense burner was probably made in imitation of contemporary Dehua ware, also from Fujian province, but far superior in material.
The piece has a low rounded body, a nearly straight foot, constricted neck and everted rim with two angular handles on top. The piece is light in weight, made of off-white stoneware and covered with a cream-coloured glaze with an overall fine-meshed crackle. The inside and base are unglazed, the glaze has darker stains. -
